What is “Manage Sensors”?
The Manage Sensors section provides comprehensive installation guides for security agents across various operating systems like Windows, Linux, and macOS, ensuring your devices are correctly configured to transmit logs to the platform. By following these step-by-step instructions and using the provided deployment scripts, To verify that a sensor is fully monitored and transmitting data to the platform, you can check the from Discover > Assets management.


How to use Manage Sensors?

To access the Manage Sensors, click the Settings icon in the top navigation bar.



This section provides a centralized for deploying agents across your environment:


  1. OS Selection: You can switch between dedicated tabs for Windows, Mac & Linux, and Kubernetes to get the correct installation resources for each environment.
  2. Installation Methods: The page offers resources for Manual Installation using PowerShell scripts for individual machines, as well as options for Mass Installation across multiple devices.
  3. Detailed Guidance: A dedicated Installation guide is available via the View button, providing step-by-step instructions to ensure your devices are correctly configured and appear as "Fully Monitored"  Alternatively, you can download the PDF file.


Installation Methods: 


1.Manual Installation:


You can download the required Script File, copy your unique Enrollment Token, and grab the Configuration file needed to link devices to the platform. Manual Installation is the recommended best practice for Servers to ensure a more controlled and stable setup.


2.Mass Installation:


(GPO):

This method is best suited for user workstations, allowing you to deploy the sensor to many devices at once via GPO. Please note that a system restart is required to finalize the installation on these devices.
